Professional Experience:

David has been a litigation lawyer since admission.  His practice has been a general practice, historically focusing on criminal law, anti discrimination and personal injury matters but over time David has worked extensively in commercial litigation particular in the areas of construction law and contractual disputes.  David also provides commercial legal advice to his business clients with respect to all aspects of their business operations to assist in avoiding disputes.

David also has, by reason of his involvement in the local sport scene had extensive exposure to domestic tribunals and the operations of Incorporated Associations.  David has been sought out by both public and private bodies to provide advices in respect of Administrative law issues.

 Qualifications

·         Bachelor of Laws, University of Adelaide 1988, first admitted to practice in 1989.

Managing Partner

Professional Experience:

Susan practices mainly in commercial law and commercial litigation.  Her commercial experience encompasses sale and purchases of business including hotels and motels and she is familiar with liquor licensing and other statutory requirements for such businesses.

Susan has dealt with various aspects of the Corporations Law including insolvency issues both providing advice and in litigious matters.  She has extensive experience in property law involving all aspects of conveyancing, leasing, planning, subdivisions, mortgages, caveats and workmen’s liens.

Susan supervises the commercial division of De Silva Hebron and has provided (and settled) complex legal advices with respect to rights and obligations of persons (both private and public) of a commercial and statutory nature.

• Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) University of Queensland via Northern Territory University 1992
• Admitted to Supreme Court of the Northern Territory on 3 August 1994
